72 Hour Relationship Nearing End as Bus Crosses Home-State Line

FLOMATIN, AL – In a joint public statement, Liberty High School Band members Christy Sanders, 15, and Paul Terrick, 16, announced their 72 hour getaway relationship ended just as their bus crossed the Tennessee/Alabama state line on Sunday night while returning from WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH. What began as hand holding during an on-bus screening of Finding Dory quickly escalated to talks of going to prom together and eventually marriage. Sources say tensions arose when Terrick allegedly forgot to bring an extra Cheese and Peanut Butter Cracker and Capri Sun from the cooler at the front of the bus.

“I thought it would last forever,” Sanders told reporters. “My heart is forever broken and I will never love again. My heart will always be his.”

At press time, it is reported that Terrick had already dated his way through half the color guard.
